Half way through the mancation with Brandon and Matt... I have a little time and a computer so I think some updates are in order...

So the trip started out with a flight from Singapore to Penang, Malaysia. Penang is an old school port town on the Strait of Malacca...being a port town it has a lot of influences from various European and Asian cultures, which means a lot of different types of food...I would say that food is the main attraction in Penang since the city seemed quite boring and beaches werent that spectacular.

Below is a picture of the bomb Char Kway Teow

We spent two nights in Penang and moved on to the Malaysian island of Langkawi where we spent three days. Langkawi is great cause it has all the things you want in beach town; empty beaches, clean water, and cheap beer! We rented a car for our time in Langkawi and spent our time driving to various spots on the island in search of the perfect beaches to eat, drink, and sleep at. It was a super relaxing time. The nights were spent playing epic games of Catan.

Brandon and Matt introduced me to Catan and I have been hooked playing pretty much everyday on our trip. The game is super nerd style, but I love it. I would say the games like a combination of Risk, Monopoly, and Magic: The Gathering. It truly is one of those games you love to play, but wouldn't brag about it to anyone. NERDS!!!!!

Next stop on the agenda was Kuala Lumpur. Being in KL proved to be super hectic since all three of us were used to the island slow life, and the big city caught us off guard. Matt almost got his by a bus walking down the busy streets and all the street vendors were just real annoying. So we spent the night drinking Grey Goose and playing more Catan in the hostel. However 2 good things came out of the stop in KL; I got a super sweet pic at the Petronas Towers, and found a good hostel to stay in when traveling thru KL again.

We jetted out of KL after only one night and now are in Krabi, Thaland....the place seems real chill so far, and I love Thai food...more updates after my return to Singapore
